Read Paxton Bachman's Biography.
Paxton Bachman hails from Vancouver, BC Canada where he started rocking in from the crib soon after birth. He grew up in Winnipeg listening to R&B, from Motown to Stax records, from the smooth melody of Stevie Wonder to funking out with James Brown.

Paxton's musical education started early and quickly. He started on the drums at 7 and moved to the westcoast in his teens and discovered The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. He then quickly added guitar and piano to his palette and started singing and writing tunes, getting his own style together.

From there it's been a long ride playing in various bands, honing his talents, gigging and writing songs = paying dues. Paxton was fortunate enough to learn the ropes from his Father and Uncles who played with Canadian rock bands: The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive.

Although Paxton had learned a lot spending time behind the curtain guitar-teching tours for Randy, he much more enjoys guitar dueling with
 him on the stage.

He also cut his teeth for many seasons backing up Texas Blues-man 'Master of the Lap Steel' Sonny Rhoads, for who he held the positions of musical director and guitarist while enjoying the experience of opening up in front of tens of thousands in Toronto for Blues legends Robert Cray and the late Jeff Healey.

Paxton's role on this planet is making music. He's equally at home either playing lil coffee houses,  honing his craft, sitting in with the Doobie Brothers rocking out for an encore, singing sessions on a Doug and the Slugs record in early adolescence, to assisting studio sessions with Duke Robilliard.

Check out Paxton's upcoming studio album hitting the street this summer, and get ready to hear some Bluesy, funky rock n roll. You can also check out one of his live shows playing in a city near you!
